August storm

This abstract landscape is one of the first landscapes I ever painted. I used colored pencils and acrylics on the underpainting with oil pastels as the top layer. This piece is varnished with high quality materials to protect the piece for a lifetime.

The colors are warm greens, blues, and golds, with hints of hot pink and the sky is full of grey clouds hinting of an impending summer storm. It is square in size measuring at 16" by 16" and 1 1/2" on a deep gallery wrapped canvas.
