Dissolve in the Sky

This is a very unique piece! I used colored pencils, acrylic paints, and collage elements and used the quote "I am in the mood to dissolve in the sky" by Virginia Woolf. I added two layers of encaustic wax to seal the piece and used hints of gold embellishments. The piece is on heavy duty artist mixed media paper.

The color palette is is very moody in mostly blue and cream. It measures at 9 x 12 inches. She would look beautiful matted in a frame.
