Love on the Weekend

Abstract floral artwork. I used colored pencils and acrylics on the underpainting with oil pastels as the top layer. There are also pieces of collage peeking through the paint. This piece is varnished with high quality materials to protect the piece for a lifetime.

I used a colorful palette of blues and pinks with hints of gold, with an overlay of black to take advantage of the negative space. It measures at 5 x 7 inches and would look great matted in a frame.
